Hi Parents!
RISD has a book review program. Publishers send us brand new, 2012 copyright books and let us preview them. If we review them, we can keep them in our library. So it’s a great way to add free books to our library!
So what’s involved? You just fill out a Guest Reviewer Profile (should take less than 5 minutes to fill out) and turn it in. From there, you can be as involved as you want to be (reviewing one book or several). From your profile interests, I will select a book or books for you and send them home with your child for you to review, along with a book review form. Then you can fill that out and turn it back in with the book. Don’t worry…even the reviews don’t take very long at all! After that, the book becomes ours to keep!
